The Land of the Sirens Tour

In the afternoon, arrival of the group in Pompeii, meeting with the guide and visit of the famous Roman city which was buried by ashes and lapillus during the eruption  of Vesusius Volcano in 79 A.C. After the visit, accommodation in the hotel in Sorrento, dinner and overnight

Breakfast in the hotel and departure for Naples. In the morning visit of the “City of Science” with its scientific laboratories. After the visit, meeting with our guide and visit of Naples: Piazza Plebiscito, Royal Palace, St. Charles Theatre, Umberto I° Gallery, Maschio Angioino, St. Chiara Cloister and the Cathedral. In the afternoon, return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.

Breakfast in the hotel and departure for Amalfi coast, considered one of the most beautiful in Italy. Some stops to appreciate the wonderful panorama of the coast with the famous cities of Positano and Amalfi, the oldest maritime republics. In Amalfi, visit with the local guide of the Paradise Cloister, St. Andrea Cathedral, the Arsenals of the Republic and the Paper Museum. In the afternoon, visit of Minori, Maiori and Vietri sul Mare. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.

Breakfast in the hotel and departure for Caserta. At the arrival, meeting with the guide and visit of the Royal Palace (in 1750 Carlo III of Bourbon, king of the two Sicilies,  in the aim of a military and administrative reorganization of the kingdom, commissioned to the Architect Luigi Vanvitelli to design a monumental construction. A dream and an initiative which wouldn’t limit themselves to build a Royal Palace competing with Versailles’s one but pointing to give to the kingdom a new capital). Visit of the Royal Apartments, the Throne Room, the Theatre, the Central Staircase. Free time for the visit of the Park with its fountains. Departure and transfer to the train station.
