Campania
Campania is a region that has so much to tell and to offer. "Campania Felix" as it was known in ancient times is a region rich in history and poetry. A destination that recounts its history through natural landscapes, art, culture and the hospitality of its inhabitants.
From the sea to the mountains, from archaeological sites to food and wine tours, Campania is a triumph of beauties to visit and savour.
The Amalfi coast, the Sorrento coast, the islands of Ischia, Capri and Procida; but also Vesuvius, the Lattari mountains, the Matese, the Taburno, the excavations of Pompeii and Herculaneum offer wonderful views and unique itineraries where smells, flavours, nature and history blend into a unique and unforgettable whole.
Calabria
Calabria: land of the sun!
Calabria is the ideal destination for nature lovers.
Crystal clear sea, mountains, lakes and history. This is Calabria.
You can choose to
sunbathe on the beaches of the Tyrrhenian Sea or the Ionian Sea. Or climb the Sila mountains and
go deep into the woods on the pristine paths.
But Calabria is also history, the cradle of Magna Graecia where you can visit churches, monasteries, villages and places where time has almost stopped and traditions of the past still survive.
Puglia
Puglia is a region suspended amid nature, history, tradition, flavours and spirituality. It offers journeys to the sea and wonderful beaches, but also views of millenary olive trees that give an oil with an unsurpassed flavour.
Puglia also comes alive with traditions, flavours and colours.
Puglia is rich in traditions
rooted in its territories that can be experienced through festivals and popular celebrations
with music, appetizing foods and historical re-enactments throughout the year.
One of these unmissable events is the Notte della Taranta in Melpignano, which takes place in August with the typical pizzica and tarantella. It is an event that attracts tourists and artists from all over Europe. But also the Carnival of Putignano or the Challenge of Barletta.
Sicilia
Sicily is a magnificent island where colours, flavours, history and culture are enhanced by the sea that surrounds it.
The great wealth of Sicily is its history, its art, its traditions and its cuisine that will conquer your mind and heart.
It will be difficult to choose between the crystal clear sea, the Greek Theatre of Taormina, the unique spectacle of Etna or the patron saint festivals in Sicilian villages rich in religion and folklore such as the Festino di Santa Rosalia in Palermo and the Festa di Sant'Agata in Catania.
In recognition of the historical and cultural importance of Sicily, the Villa Romana del Casale, the Valley of the Temples, the Aeolian Islands, the historic centres of the Val di Noto, the Necropolis of Pantalica and Mount Etna were proclaimed UNESCO World Heritage sites.
The Villa Romana del Casale is a villa pertaining to the late-Roman period near Piazza Armerina in the province of Enna. In Agrigento we find the archaeological area also known as the Valley of the Temples. In this place there are Doric temples in excellent condition. The Aeolian Islands are instead an archipelago of volcanic origin, made up of seven islands arranged in the shape of a Y.
The baroque historical centres of the Val di Noto, where the influence of the late Baroque period in these villages is such that it makes them unique in the world.
The Necropolis of Pantalica near Syracuse is one of the largest and best preserved necropolises of prehistoric times.
Finally, we have Mount Etna proclaimed Unesco heritage "for the exceptional level - reads the note from the UN agency - of volcanic activity and for the evidence inherent to this activity which dates back to over 2700 years ago. The site's notoriety, scientific importance, and cultural and educational values hold global significance." Here you can enjoy a truly unique scenario: you can ski while looking at the sea.
